Baked Peanut Butter Oatmeal

Two weekends ago, I found this recipe.  I made it, and it was sooooo yummy.  Not at all like traditional oatmeal, this is light and fluffy, probably due to the egg and baking powder:).  Try it this weekend!  It tastes just like a huge oatmeal cookie!  I suggest pouring milk over the top, but my daughters liked eating it just plain.  Next time, I will try chunky peanut butter.  You could also add raisins and lots of other things!  

Sure, it doesn't look like much, but it sure is yummy!

This is a new recipe that I tried a few weeks back and LOVED!  In fact, everyone loved it- even the girls!  Plus, it was so easy.  The hardest part of any stir fry is the chopping and gathering of ingredients.

Weekly Menu Plan

So I realized this past weekend, as I enjoyed some of my daughters' left over Easter candy,  that we only have two weeks until we go on our beach vacation!  This morning, I got on the scale and have gained back almost half of the weight that I lost just a month ago.  This sent me into panic mode! So, for the next three weeks I won't be having a weekly meal plan.  Unless anyone is interested in seeing salad for dinner each night!  Luckily, my hubby is getting back on the wagon with me.  The girls usually eat whatever protein I make for our salads and veggies.  I just didn't want to bore anyone with the details of our diet!  Instead, I am going to post about some of the new recipes that I have made over the past few weeks.  I have taken lots of pictures, but have never posted about the recipes them selves.  First up:

Easter Pictures

Sorry that I have not posted this week.  Lots of things around her are coming to a close, and I had lots to do. I did want to share some of the pictures that we took on Easter.

Easter Bunny Visit

Thought I would share the picture from this year's Easter Bunny visit.  As usual, not everyone is happy- to say the least!  It is funny though.  Maybe one year (sigh) all of my kids will be happy, and looking at the camera, and not picking their noses!  This, however, is not the year for that.  

Jumping Up and Down

Sunday was my very favorite day of the year at our church!  On Palm Sunday, the kids come in waving palm branches and singing a song called "Jumping Up and Down, Hosanna".  Even before my kids were involved in the jumping, I cried.   Now that two of the three are in it, forget about it.  I was a mess!  Thankfully, I was able to hide behind my camera.

In this video, you can't really see either of my children.  Liv is the tiny red bow that is attached to her teacher's leg.  You can probably tell what kind of morning we had.  

Here's Izzy, you really have to pay attention to pick her out of the crowd.  

So much fun!  And so awesome to see these kids jumping for our Lord Jesus Christ!  Happy Easter everyone!
